Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes available to anyone from the age of 16 onwards. They enable learners to demonstrate their competence while gaining a recognised qualification, achieved through a mix of on-the-job training and study, whilst at the same time earning a wage.
There are a range of apprenticeship levels that lead to different qualifications, and they typically take between one and four years to complete.
Apprenticeships bring a number of tangible benefits to NHS organisations, including creating skilled and motivated employees. Apprentices train for a specific job, and this usually means they are committed to that role.

Maths confidence for work and life' course - Stafford College
Stafford College are running a 'Maths confidence for work and life' course for anyone living and/ or working in an organisation that covers Staffordshire – these are free sessions run by a highly skilled maths and mastery specialist. The aim is to build confidence and breakdown blocks to maths.

T Level is an Industry based qualification introduced in the education system in England as part of a reform to technical education. They are designed to offer students aged 16 to 19 a more vocational and practical route of study, focusing on specific industry sectors.
T Levels are equivalent to three A-levels. They combine classroom-based learning with practical work experience, allowing students to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in their chosen field.
The T Level program is two year course and includes mandatory industry placement of at least 315 hours (45 days), giving students the opportunity to apply their learning in a real- world work setting. The aim is to prepare students for skilled employment or higher-level technical study/apprenticeship.
As a Trust we will be offering T Levels placements in engineering and business management.
