Rising Brook Community Library was given an award at the National Community Managed Library Network Annual Awards 2024, for its brilliant volunteers, who have improved the library by engaging with the local community and Staffordshire Libraries.
Service Award for Professor Zafar Iqbal, Associate Medical Director of Public Health
Associate Medical Director Public Health, Professor Zafar Iqbal was presented with a Service Award at the Royal College of Physicians’ Faculty of Public Health AGM and Awards Ceremony for his contributions and dedication to the Faculty.
Highly Commended for Provider Collaborative of the Year
The Trust was Highly Commended in the Provider Collaborative of the Year category at the HSJ Awards 2024 for the Catalyst project, a partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board supporting vulnerable young people in Stoke-on-Trent who are on the edge of care and their families.

West Midlands Regional Finalist for Gatsby T Level Employer of the Year
MPFT was represented at the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2024 by our Workforce Development Team, who were selected as West Midlands Regional Finalist in the Gatsby T Level Employer of the Year category, and Jamie Knapper, Senior Digital Operations Manager, who was named as the West Midlands Regional Finalist in The Royal Air Force Skills Champion of the Year category.

AHP Workforce Transformation Award 2024
Congratulations to Wendy Hollands, Allied Health Professional (AHP) Lead for Workforce who, along with Felicity Devereux and Hannah Tomkins, AHP Preceptorship Leads at Oxleas has won the NHS England Chief Allied Health Professions Officer AHP Workforce Transformation Award 2024 for their work to successfully embed the Oxleas AHP Preceptorship Programme within the Trust and demonstrating how it has positively impacted the AHP workforce.
